Starting a Small Business

Starting a Small Business in 2011

Timing in life is everything....Are you ready to start a small business and be a business owner for the year 2011?  It's an exciting time to begin a new future.

Maybe you were not ready to begin a small business several months ago but things have changed in your life and you are reconsidering it now.

Below is a video taken from one of my business events recently…you never know what is awaiting you, if you are open to change.

Timing

l. Where are you in your life right now?
2. Are you fed up with upper management?
3. Are you tired of not earning the money you deserve? Is a raise even a possibility, or
are cutbacks in your future with your current employer?
4. After the holiday, reality sets in with credit card bills. Hopes for a family vacation
begin to diminish due to affordability and having to live paycheck to paycheck.
5. Your New Year’s Resolution list includes:
     “Get out of debt”
     “More time with my family”
“Live my life on my terms”
     “Lose weight”
      “More control of my life”
6. What are the possibilities of escaping the rat race for life? Instead of working 9 to 5? 9 to 6? 8 to 6?
8 to 8? What a long day! Fight the traffic, fight the weather, and when you get home, there’s not
much energy left, since you gave everything you had to your job.  “Can I change this?”
    you ask.
7.  Waiting for the right time, right money?  It’s actually a concept of choice.  The ability
to make a decision, starts with you.

Steps -

Take the steps to start a small business with a micro business (home-based business). This is the wave of the future.  Transition with part-time work at home until it is self-sustaining, overtakes you current income, and your small business becomes full-time.

It’s been an amazing journey from ‘employee’ to ‘entrepreneur’ for me.  Consider the phrase that nobody likes, “Everything happens for a reason.”  At times we have all experienced occurrences in life that were bad, unfair and out of our control.

“What did I do to deserve this” or “Why did this happen to me,” you ask.  It’s hard to believe it could be a blessing in disguise, isn’t it?

But it can be.

Pictures and video were taken at the Chamber of Commerce event at the Bear Creek Marina in McDowell County; an event held for business owners.  Pontoon Boat ride on Lake James, Dinner, and Dance.  Thanks  Joe Sam Queen prior senator to the North Carolina General Assembly for sharing some fancy steps with us!!! Believe -

Believe in yourself.  It is TIME to get started.  The industry is ripe for change, timing couldn’t be better.  There’s a great transfer of wealth going on right now.  It’s happening whether you join in or not.

Don’t you want to be a part of it?

Start your small business today.
